Isn't this magical?!
Magical is the perfect way to described Carla + Nate's wedding day and as you'll see Kylene & Ryan Studios didn't miss a single magical moment.
One of the things that I immediately admired about Carla was how much she trusted me from the very first hello. She knew she wanted classic flowers to go along with the gorgeous Emerald + Gold + White color palette and I was happy to create two designs for her reception that I thought brought a bit of modern romance. Draping white phaleonopsis orchids spilled from the gold empire vases, raised but not too overdone. We then paired varying levels of floating candles with lush hydrangea, roses, ranunculus and more orchids for a more intimate setting and between the two designs - I simply cannot choose a favorite. I love them both!
Of course I can't forget her bouquet. Full of bold green camilla leaves, white stock and a center phaleonopsis orchid focal it was wonderful to see how well the flowers styled with Carla's wedding gown. And the emerald green dresses that the Bridal party wore - let's just say I expect to see this color more! Stunning.
The Ceremony was held in in front of the great wood doors of Mission San Luis. Personalized with a moment for Carla + Nate to take it all in. Can you imagine with they were thinking - what a special moment to see a room full of people who love you.
After the beautiful ceremony it was time to celebrate. But it's just not Florida if the weather doesn't change every hour - the rain made an appearance and well, it couldn't have been more magical for photos. There were a couple of sketchy moments that must have really scared the wedding party but Carla + Nate were not even phased.
And no way they were going to let a little wedding day storm ruin the celebration. And celebrate they did. When I arrived at the end of the evening we had a full on party still in progress. Candles and glow sticks everywhere! I am so happy to have been welcomed in to help create such a fun and inspiring wedding. Thank you Carla + Nate - welcome to the At Last family!
